Do not chase, do not pressure

Chasing signals that you need the deal more than they do — and that instantly lowers your value.

Why pressure backfires

Pressure creates compliance, not commitment. Clients closed under pressure churn, dispute invoices and never refer anyone. A calm 'no' today is worth more than a squeezed 'yes'.

The alternative: create a decision, not a deadline

Instead of manufacturing urgency, make the cost of doing nothing visible. Their bleeding is the deadline.

Say it like this

This price is only available until Friday, so I need an answer today.
